Learn to use color temperature to describe form using any medium. We will be painting our favorite shells from direct observation. Bring your own shell or choose from one of mine!

About the event
Learn to sketch and paint iconic seashells from life! Start by making a value sketch and using simple shapes and 5 values to capture the form. Then capture the shell in paint on canvas (open to any medium-demo will be in pastel). Make a drawing and a painting, and learn to see and capture 5 values in pencil and your favorite painting medium. Learn to see color temperature and use it to describe form. Great exercise for painters of all levels or people who want to learn to paint.
