Adding Wildlife to the Florida Landscape

Bring a few old paintings from the “unfinished” box and learn how to elevate them by adding a bird (or gator, fox, figure or other focal point). Learn to match the lighting to make it look like they were there all along! Work from supplied photos to choose which critter you want to include. Make value sketches and color studies to plan how the light will wrap around the forms, and create a finished, polished painting. Open to all media (watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel) Taught by the author of the article in the Winter edition of the Pastel Journal on adding a bird to a painting. Individual and group attention. Really fun technique will use repeatedly!
