I, along with 199 other volunteers from all over the country, was trained as a Climate Project Presenter by Al Gore in 2007, to deliver his slide show from the film “An Inconvenient Truth.” Mr. Gore spent about ten hours going through the slides with us, along with Dr. Michael MacCracken, a leading scientist from the Climate Institute. I probably aged ten years from the scary statistics and facts I learned. The most important fact is that there is always hope. Hope comes in the form of renewable energy, changing lifestyles, building community, and above all else; reclaiming our moral imperative. It is immoral to be the world’s largest contributor to greenhouse gases and do nothing about it.

I would like to offer this presentation freely to any group of ten or more in the Mid-Hudson region. The presentation is a forty minute, scientifically-vetted slide show about global warming, ten minutes of solutions that I added, and ten minutes for questions. There is no political posturing or proselytizing, only cold facts, and simple solutions delivered from a warm heart.
